On behalf of all of us at the McGrath Foundation, I would like to sincerely thank the community for its wonderful and heartfelt support following the sad passing of our Founder - Jane McGrath, who passed away on Sunday 22nd June 2008.

Jane McGrath was my best friend and I miss her more than I can say. We spent much of our time together laughing, being mums, simply enjoying each other’s company and our wonderful lives. She will forever hold a very special place in my heart and memory.

I became General Manager of the McGrath Foundation because I valued our friendship and wanted to help Jane realise her vision, which was to raise awareness of breast cancer particularly among young women, and provide access to a specialist Breast Care Nurse for all women diagnosed with breast cancer.

The work of the McGrath Foundation will thrive thanks to Jane’s passion and commitment, and to the generosity of everyone who has made a donation. Total donations made to the Foundation since Jane’s passing exceed $1,300,000, and I would like to extend my deepest appreciation to everyone for their valuable contributions.

Together we can make a difference.
